MARK GOODE JOINS THE 2K POINT CLUB

On Tuesday night in Bardstown, Mark Goode scored his 12th point in the 2nd quarter against Nelson County.  At that moment he became the second LCHS Boys Basketball player in the 61-year history to reach the exclusive 2000 point club joining Scott Boley (1984-1988).  Boley ended his career at LCHS with 2129 points.  Mark has

MAT HAWKS TAKE SECOND AT STATE DUALS

The LaRue County Mat Hawks traveled to Columbia, Kentucky on Saturday to compete at the KYWCA State Duals Championships. The Hawks defeated Fort Campbell 71-12 and Frederick Douglass 55-21 to advance to the semi-finals against Walton Verona. MAT HAWKS GO 10-0 TO WIN TSUNAMI DUALS

The LaRue County Hawks Wrestling program went 10-0 in the 2-day Meade Co. Tsunami Duals event to win the championship in dramatic fashion.  Down 33-39 in the final duals match Freshman Conner Lambert pins his man to tie it up 39-39.  LaRue County were named champions since they accumulated the most pins in the duals

LADY HAWKS THREE-PEAT!

The Lady Hawks Soccer Team won the 2019 18th District Championship last week with an exciting 1-0 victory over host school Marion County. Rachel Cundiff, Olivia Hazelwood, Lindsey Bauer and Kylee Nunn named to the 18th District All Tournament team.  

KYLEE NUNN BREAKS SINGLE-SEASON SCORING RECORD

Kylee Nunn became the Lady Hawk all-time single-season scoring leader last night surpassing Elena Espinosa (32 goals in 2017).  Nunn found the net 4 times last night in a semi-final match with Hart County in the 18th District Tournament at Marion County High School.  Nunn now has 34 goals this season.

Dawson honored by KHSADA

The Kentucky High School Athletic Directors’ Association announced the regional honorees for Athletic Director of the Year. LaRue County High School business teacher David Dawson was recognized as the Athletic Director of the Year (Region 5). Each recipient was selected by their colleagues within the region.
